This postgraduate program is designed to provide the M.Sc students with a comprehensive knowledge about internet protocols and services. It also provide deep concepts about internet access technologies and protocols.



  1. To enable students to learn how the internet works, and to know its entire structure.
  2. To make them familiar with the technical aspects related to the communication protocols.
  3. To build strong fundamental knowledge among students to pursue higher education

Course Hours:

  • Classroom: 3 hrs

Final Grades: Your final grade will come from the following sources: class attendance, homework assignments, topic presentation, two midterms, and final exam/project.

  1. Attendance: 5%
  2. Assignments: 15%
  3. Quizzes: 20%
  4. Final exam: 60%
